Dongding oolong tea

Known as “Formosa Dongding oolong”, most notably grown in the Dongding Mountain of Fenghuang Mountain System in Nantou County of Taiwan. The major planting area, Lugu Country, is of the yearly average temperature and rainfall at 22 Celsius degrees and 2200 millimeters. Mist wreathes the hilltops all the year so that the air humidity is rather high. Its special qualities have been attributed to an almost continuous fog. The soil in the planting gardens belongs to brown cohesive soil, with good condition of water draining and storage. The made Dongding oolong tea is in a hemispheric curled shape. It has a color of greenish black with a little yellow, and a natural faint fragrance. The tea soup is in a color of orange. Its taste is mellow, sweet, and soft, and lasts long.

First round: light color with subtle fragrance after steeping for 12 seconds or so

Second round: greenish yellow with strong fragrance and fresh taste after steeping for 15 seconds or so

Third round: golden with strong and refreshing flavor after steeping for 20 seconds or so
